Over-insulation

Over the years over insulation in the roof cavity forms a moisture barrier. The trapped moisture will eventually rot out the wood in your ceiling. That’s why there is a need to vacuum old insulation from the roof.

Water or Rodent Damage

Rodents, water and even time can often damage and reduce the effectiveness of the insulation in your roof, attic space or crawl spaces. When this happens you may need to: eliminate the rodent or animal infestation; remove the old insulation, vapor barrier, carcasses and other materials. Odor control, sanitizing, ventilation and the replacing of new insulation may be required.

Insulation Upgrade

Sometimes it’s a home improvement project that warrants removing and replacing the insulation in an attic or crawl space. Other times it is something as simple as old blown insulation trickling out of cracks around light fixtures and attic doors.
